About Riverside Saginaw Film Festival: Founded in 2007, the festival is an annual all-volunteer event held this year at the historic Temple, 203 N. Washington in downtown Saginaw. This past June 6, a Saginaw-born paratrooper was the subject of a red carpet movie premiere in France -- 66 years to the day after he helped liberate the town of Ste Mere Eglese following the Allied invasion of Normandy.
