Synopsis: The tiny airport in Bangor, ../maine, is the last sight of America soldiers see on their way to war in Iraq and Afghanistan and the first taste of home on their return. For the past six years, three senior citizens in the town have devotedly met and greeted each planeload passing through -- nearly 1 million veterans in all.
Winner at South by Southwest Film Festival.
“An unabashedly patriotic, sentimental and somewhat unsettling look at aging in America.”
–John Anderson, Variety
Preceded by the 5-minute short "A Hat, Some Change and a Shoe" by California teen filmmaker Melody Miller.
